I like that the early signing period has given some power back to the schools. Before, teams were at the mercy of these 18-year old players. Teams never knew for sure what they had as commits flipped and so on. You'd think you'd maybe 2 RBs and both could flip and you'd have nothing, leaving you in a real spot. Now, if you want in, better sign early or you might be the one left holding. I like it!

don't go that far; hell, it's not even official signing day yet.

this new early signing period changes things. the end game is much more uncertain and a kid takes his chances by not going early.

LSU's needs changed; we need DB's, WR's and that's what we're going to sign. picking up a stud RB next year is literally easier than most, if not all, other positions.

I expected we see some of this with early signing day. Kids will have to take notice. If you wait, you may not end up at the school of your choice.
