You are a complete clown.
You continue to post about a possible top 10 finish. Why? Did you misread the narrative email from Prince or something?? Yes we may finish with 10 wins, but there is no way LSU finishes in the top 10. Period.
You claim to deal with facts and reality, but you are the ultimate poster in speculation and fantasy.
You’ve already run away from one ban bet from me, so I’ll offer another:
Even if LSU beats ND, we will NOT be ranked in the top 10. If we do finish in the top 10, I will ban myself from The Rant until the Gameday against Miami in 2018.
If we beat ND, and do not finish in the top 10, you ban yourself until the Miami game.
Deal?
If not, STFU and stop spewing unrealistic propaganda to prop up this season as something it clearly has not been, a top 10 performance by this team.
ETA: If we lose to ND, no ban because obviously we won’t finish top 10, so no risk to you there.

Granted, I've not been on this site as an active poster for the many years that some of you have... but this division amongst the board fans is pretty insane.
There are pros and cons to what O has accomplished and failed to accomplish, just as there were for Miles, Saban, Dinardo... but I've not yet seen us at each others throats so badly whilst on the cusp of a really nice bowl appearance. Maybe Canada should stay, maybe he should go- that's what brought out the underlying division that has existed but has been quiet.
Hopefully the team isn't so divided on the field tomorrow. I can be vocal about what I feel is best for the program, but I'm just a lowly fan. I'm not a bigtime TAF booster, or on the BoS or an AD. I just want the team I love and support to win. And as such, I want to see the administration put them in the best possible position to do so.
I've visited almost every thread on the board lately but I've silenced myself mostly for the last couple days because it's just getting a little absurd here. I want to watch the team win a good game tomorrow, but if LSU loses I may consider avoiding tRant for about a week to stay out of what will absolutely be a Chernobyl-esque nuclear melt. But then again, I still want to know what the OC drama will turn out to be, so I'll be here anyway

Why do all the O pumpers seem not that smart? Is it that in general they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, or is it that they are really the same couple of people with numerous alters?

A lot of us go to the games and support the team. Just because we are frustrated with everything from the Miles firing, to hiring ED and now Canada bolting after 1 year, doesnt mean we aren't fans.

If thinking Orgeron is unqualified for this job makes me a Bama fan then RMFT
Posted on 12/31/17 at 3:34 pm to Nix to Twillie
I have said all along I thought LSU had a real shot at finishing in the top 10, depending on the game tomorrow and how dominating we look. Nothing has changed. I'm realistic, I know it could also be around 12.
Yes, retirement and deer hunting almost daily leads to more posts.
It is almost like you actually want LSU to fail. Doesn't make sense. You argue with anything positive

Well if getting a graduate degree, building a successful business, retiring early, means I'm a dumbass because I support O then so be it. Lot of irony in your post. O haters largely are uneducated kids, sprinkled in with a few shift working older men. Most o pumpers as you call them are rational and objective and believe in giving the man a chance without crying and bitching 24/7. Especially given we may finish with our best ranking since 2011. So your assumption is that the o haters come across as intelligent because they whine and bitching daily ....sounds reasonable.

Wait a second.....
You believe Miles should have been fired but fully support Orgeron even though he hasn't even accomplished in a single season what Miles averaged over more than a decade?
And you're calling other people irrational. Oh my the irony is strong with this one.

Miles should not have been fired in September, no. Any national championship winning coach should be allowed to finish a season.
I posted here that if LSU didn’t win the West in 2016, Miles should be fired. He didn’t get the opportunity finish that season despite that goal still being in reach, and so Alleva will be deservedly second guessed for that until LSU returns to Atlanta as Western Champs.
In addition to the bad look from a PR perspective, at which Alleva has proven to be an absolute train wreck, it made the early firing even worse when he failed to secure a highly respected and sought after replacement despite having a two month head start on other teams in the market.
Regardless, the firing has nothing to do with concerns that many have with what we have seen from O so far.
There have been some positives, but to pretend as though there have been no negatives and being concerned about them is absolute denial and shameless shilling.
Care to take me up on the ban bet, or have you properly updated your talking points?
