Exactly, the very first response in this thread is out of pure ignorance and automatically jumps to conclusions, which is exactly what the article was trying to induce. Now when it’s later discovered that this guy was in town and had planned to go to the gun range with some buddies or, as was rumored a page ago, was in town for a 3-gun competition, nobody will remember.

Makes it OK to give local PD's rocket launchers in the minds of 80+ year old's who watch Fox News all day.
