I put some 15k mobile oil in a car and the change filter alarm went off about 9k miles.
If you are going to change the filter at 7500-10k miles and have to get under the car so jack it up and what not, how much harder is it to really Change the damn oil? Not hard, and personally I'd rather have new oil then better old Azz oil for 10k miles.
