At Bayou Sauvage, can you paddle from landing to some duck hunting spots or do you need outboard? Big boat stays in venice for the winter, but have some kayaks that we could use.

We have had a pretty steady season of birds in Cheneyville. They are just wary of the levees and mojos at this point.

Yesterday I paddled from my place to "the rocks". The marsh by Chef and the icww is loaded with ducks.

Some of it can be reached paddling, but would not paddle the icww in the dark. Near Lombard by Chico lagoon is a safer paddle.
