extended warranty question

are shocks covered?
have to have all 4 replaced on a 2013 4 runner...

Nope - extended warranties don’t cover wearable items (brakes, tires, shocks etc.) unless it is specifically stated.

How many miles? The parts could be covered to a certain amount. If breaking down before manufacturer spec they could be faulty

Tokiko shocks should not fail that quickly.
I'd request they send pictures to the manufacturer for warranty.

Was this the factory manufacturer, ie ToyotaCare, extended warranty?
Or do you have what is called an 'after-market' type warranty?
Big difference.
I tell folks all the time that the after-market warranties are garbage and should be avoided.
I think there ToyotaCare offers 3 or four levels of extended coverage for their vehicles.
So check which type extended warranty you have and contact your local Toyota dealer.
