Yes. It is trashy. frick Europe. They are also into child sex and love radical Islam

Actually a lot Europe is, but to in regards to drinking. They don't so much promote as they just don't make is a big deal.

Europe is not trashy and people who think this are obviously dumbasses. There is a different culture and stigma around alcohol over there. It's used more as a compliment to a meal, or a digestive aid. Kids in Europe aren't taught by pop culture from a young age that alcohol is supposed to be abused like it is in the states (unless they catch American programming). You don't see TV shows in European culture glorifying teens or young adults abusing alcohol and getting wasted. Now I love my country 
and wouldn't want to live anywhere else but I swear some people are just freaking stupid when it comes to other cultures.
