For me it was when he cried at the press conference. It was a great moment and I understand the emotion but I don’t want an emotional head football coach. I want a stone cold killer who’s going to win.

Didn’t realize it was over for O? Did we all miss something? My only realization is your stupidity

You mean like when Les cried after an Oklahoma State game back in 04?

Still keeping to that line of thought, OP?

The minute he was unable to sign a top 10 class for 2018 without the help of his highly touted OC. That's when I knew he couldn't cut it. The program is doomed!

You whiny bitches are trash. You've never done anything In sports, yet you are experts on coach O's demise. It's unbelievably pathetic

When he said he wanted a pro style offense with a pocket passer QB. Right then and there I realised he wasn't serious about improving LSU, or beating Bama for that matter.

Later after losing to Bama he says something along the line of needing a dual threat and a spread offense. Then he has both QB commits questioning if they made a huge mistake committing to LSU, then instead of doing a legit OC look around, he just grabbed the most talked about one on the year. Stoops went and grabbed Lincoln Riley who had been running a super pass happy offense at East Carolina. Freeze grabbed a guy from the FCS ranks as well as Franklin at Penn St. Meyer went and grabbed the fired HC from Indiana who had powerful balanced offenses. Consistent guys. Guys that had been doing things at one school for several years. Guys that were under the radar, not guys that were up for greatest coordinator of the year. These coaches LOOKED for modern, these coaches looked for effectiveness over a period of time, these coaches didn't just get the guy that everybody thought was the greatest or whatever.

Phil Longo is the guy I want us to go after the most, but guys like Kendal Briles, Sterlin Gilbert, and Sonny Cumbie are also really good options. I'd have to look also at the FCS ranks for guys we could keep for 3-4 years.

Death for defenses Phil Longo? No thanks. That guy belong in the FCS or a minnow FBS conference with his gimmicky offense. The rest of you list is fine, there is NO WAY on Earth Aranda would put up with his offense.

2005 when he barely beat Kentucky to go 1-7. Oh. And that loss to Wyoming the same year to a 4-7 cowboy team!!
