Love mine. Don’t use the fitness capabilities at all. But for email, texts, calendar, notifications and turn by turn navigation it’s fantastic. I punch in an address for work on my phone, set my phone down and don’t have to touch it again while on the road. Turn your wrist quickly towards your face and the watch provides a quick glance at the map, how far you are before the next turn, the current time and your ETA. As you approach each turn, the phone vibrates to provide haptic feedback to let you know to turn. If you use navigation a lot it will be a huge efficiency upgrade for never having to take your eyes off the road and look down and press buttons again.
In meetings, you never have to pull out your phone. Just casually glance at your watch to see who texted, emailed or is trying to call. Tap or scribble out quick responses without ever reaching for your phone. I’ve actually answered a few calls and had conversations Dick Tracy-style. It’s better than you may think. Not perfect, but useful.
Office and work productivity are big deals for me and the Apple Watch shines for me in that regard. Very pleased with its battery life and how quickly it charges. Owned it over a year now and 100% charge lasts over 30 hours. It charges back to 100% in hours if that.
Great product in my experience.
