The lower student sections seats do not have chairbacks. They are true bleachers. The middle and upper sections of the student section have chairbacks. Maybe that's one small reason most of the students do not sit in the lower bleachers.
I will say this: those bleachers were full for our November home games. Kids will be back in there for Alabama (Jan 13) and after.
