I'm a golf lover and see lots of novice golfers struggling at the beginning. So I decided to write some tips for new players. For example: Keep some cheap clubs handy Cheap clubs are handy if you need to break something and not cause too much financial damage in the process. If you’re on a budget an alternative is to throw your least favourite club as far as you can, make sure to throw it into an area away from your playing partners. you will get out of it what you put in. you are going to suck at first. consistency comes with lots of practice (even then i cant make a damn birdie putt). it is a lot harder than it looks on tv.

mental game. dont get frustrated that you suck in the beginning. situational spots on the course wont match the practice area in every circumstance. you will have to adjust your shot/stance/grip etc.

Always keep your keys, wallet, jewelry, etc in the cart in case you decide to throw your bag into the lake.

Anything inside of 10 ft is a gimme

I've done this a couple of times with friends who are decent golfers, but not great. We will get on 11 or so and I'll mention that it just isn't feeling right today and that my breathing is jacked up. Then I ask whether they breathe in or out at contact.

The next couple shots where they are trying to figure out whether they are breathing in or out is always funny and I'll pick up a couple extra shots for a cushion for the back.

That’s a total dick move and I’ve used it on the practice green before a tournament before

Exhale right before you take the club back, baw.

Just like sending one down range when you're about to deliver bidness.
