it’s not perfect by any means. it’s probably the most obscure rule with the largest range of outcome in terms of impact on the game. I just don’t have as much of an issue with that as I do with other rules a la automatic first downs for defensive holding etc etc

Bitch about about a bad rule but Oakland got a 55 yd penalty to get down there on 4th and 10 on a wild hail Mary that was called PI only because the rookie dB didn't turn and face the ball. Because it was underthrown.
