Per Mike Pereira:

The way the nfl calls it is correct according to the rule but it’s a bad rule.

It’s like a 40 mph speed limit on a freeway, it would be a bad limit and if a cop pulled you over for speeding you couldn’t say well it’s a bad law so I shouldn’t have to follow it, but it should be changed

Does Mike keep changing his mind on the rules?

Every place on the field is a different rule.

We've seen bang-bang dive for pylon tons of times, ruled a TD as the ball is rolling out of bounds.
