Here’s a novel approach to film making - why not start with a great script and then stick to it?

This explains why the entire movie felt like random scenes shot out of order then edited wildly together.

Exactly. This is the core reason why people are hating this movie so much. The script is poorly written, poorly edited, and characters poorly used and not developed.

The fact that Disney has so much stuff riding on the Star Wars Franchise from Theme parks to hotels, etc... I just don’t understand how such an unpolished-bad story could make it past focus groups and management.
It’s like ‘group think’ has set in big time @ Disney & Lucas Film mgmt, w/ zero quality control and different opinions.
