re: Any of you baws had sinus surgery?

I had a deviated septum repaired and sinuses scraped or whatever.

Released by doc and went home. Bleeding didn’t stop and my face started to swell with blood. Wife took me to hospital as blood was literally leaking out of my eyeballs. Had to put me back under to resuture something.

Besides that, wasn’t too bad. Got release from hospital the next day and think I was back for half day of work the day after.

Even with my horror story, it was worth it. Breath much better. Sleep better. And zero sinus infections.l when I used to keep one about six months out of year. I’d do it again.

But my nose was f’ed up. Doctor asked me how many times I had broken it. When I said none, he said he’d done pro bono work on over a hundred prisoners and my nose was top three worst he’d ever seen.
