Who cares if it’s a specific as it being if they are commercial or not? People realized that they could destroy a building by highjacking a plane, and 9/11 happened.

9/11 wasn't even the first attempt to do so. There was a hijacking in 1994 with the aim of crashing an airliner into the Eiffel Tower. But they had to land first to get fuel and special forces stormed the plane.
