I don't know...it's pretty hard.
Because you know, if that was the only thing I had to do every night, it wouldn't be a burden. But it's item 9464838 on my daily list of crap that I have to do. So yeah, when I finally pass out in my bed with every part of my body limp from exhaustion and then remember I didn't move the stupid fricking elf... and have to drag my tired arse out of bed? It's a burden. A YUGE BURDEN.

Correct. The issue isn't moving the Elf, it's remembering to move the Elf. Even if the kids seem to pay little or no attention to the Elf, they'll sure notice if he's in the same place the next day.
