This is stupid. Just like every heat wave doesn't prove GW, every cold snap doesn't disprove it either. Besides, the amplified patterns that bring cold air this far south just mean that it's a lot warmer than normal somewhere else.

Edit: didn't take me long to find one
Juneau set a record high on Thursday of 51, previous record was 48. That's 16 degrees above the average high of 35.

I LOVE those deep cold fronts this time of year.

Makes for some good hunting.

Yeah I love when every time it gets cold some good ole baw says lulz climate change. Hell if it was to start snowing here more often it’s part of a changing climate. I think it should be called global weirding as in weird shite happens and it’s extreme.

If it was REALLY real then it would possibly usher in a mini ice age but yeah lulz at science.

But this is the essence of weather, climate change or not. Where there is a trough there must also be a ridge. What goes up must come down.

An average is simply the median of two extremes.

I once read that weather records are set literally every day, somewhere on Earth. Be it hot, cold, dry, etc.

You are correct. the Rossby Waves of ridges and troughs ensure warming (greater heights) and cooling and divergence with troughs.
