But there has to be some traffic violation for the police to pull you over

And if the car hasnt malfunctioned, then it should be operating properly, i.e. shouldnt be any traffic violations

So if its operating properly it should be impossible for you to get a OWI unless a cop sees you stumbling out of a bar into the driver's seat
