Saw he is not being retained at Arkansas. Should we take a look ? Seems to be a good recruiter - been poaching LA kids for five years, but not sure about WR coaching ??

Taking LA kids and taking LA kids that LSU was also recruiting are two different things.

There WRs have been average at best the past few seasons.

He's probably the best or second best recruiter on Bert's staff... LSU would be very wise to swoop him up, he'd destroy there... When we had good receivers that Bert actually played, and like Drew Morgan and a healthy Jared Cornelius (an Evangel kid), and a healthy o-line, he was considered a solid coach... With the disaster that was the Hogs offense this year, WRs did little to nothing good.... Saying that Bert and Enos seemed to be more enamored with throwing the ball to a 270 lb blocking TE than they were with throwing to talented WRs that we actually had on the roster.

We have to keep a career swac coach so the new orleans thug coaches won't get mad at us. Don't worry, we can bring in more consultants to coach the wr coach mid season.

Does that count as New Orleans? Probably not, huh?

Totally agree, he was probably the main coach I was hoping would stay but I understand why he didn't

I'm surprised this hasn't been talked about more.

I figured it was a no brainer for lsu.

Seems like it would've been a good move for Arkansas to keep him.

Wasn't he related to M. Dupree (sp?) or am I imagining that? I remember one of our staff was related to an LSU 5*

The New Orleans mafia might blackball LSU if they get rid of Joseph, another NO boy this offseason.

No question the WR's have to get better.

Give me Keith Williams in a heart beat. He's unemployed at the moment. CEO can help keep him sober.
