re: Why would a male be a liberal or democrat?

I often ponder the OP's question in relation to rich white males children. My girlfriends sisters now husband is a huge pothead kind of loser and a huge liberal. After observing him for months he had some common attributes of other white male liberals:

1) mega rich dad, mom does not work
2) drug dependency
3) never worked until after parent funded full ride thru college complete

Most of these people appear to suffer from white guilt and feel the need to lash out at, force guilt upon, and look down up on people who don't support the liberal dim plight. I feel it is related to being raised improperly by neglecting rich parents. Just my take observing this douche
