Saying it's basically very unsafe for players and says that studies have shown that there are exponentially more injuries played on such short rest. He said he will use his high profile position to try and end these games.

quote:

It's 100 percent a product of playing on Thursday night," Saints quarterback Drew Brees said. "You understand what guy's bodies go through in a game, and then to turn around four days later and play a game? Look at the injury studies. They're off the charts. Is this smart, as it pertains to guys' health and safety? No, absolutely not."

It seems so fkn easy and obvious to me to give teams 2 byes and never have anyone playing on a short week. I like the Thursday night games, it's just the application of them that makes no sense and sucks.

One of these ambulance chasing attorneys should round up all of the players injured on TNF over the last few years and file a class action suit.

Is that why he threw the crucial pick?

NFL would never do this. Teams usually only have byes between weeks 5 - 11.

I would like to keep the first Thursday night game of the season with the Superbowl rematch and the 3 thanksgiving teams. If they can somehow do Thursday night games exclusively between weeks 5 - 12 (since last bye is week 11) as well as the 4 aforementioned games, I would be all about it. But like I said, the NFL would never do it.

After college is over, just bring back Saturday night games. The ratings can't be worse than these shitty Thursday games.

He is obviously affected because he mistook Josh Hill for Jimmy Graham at the end.

It’s a sports massage board bruh. Probably every losing team on Thursday nights message boards are similar after the game

Brees shite the bed on last play no doubt. He looked fine most of the game. But for people who are saying he’s never done this before in this situation and that means he’s “done” haven’t watched many Saints games. He’s won far more in those situations but he has definitely shite the bed in them also. Most QBs have

Sean was going for the win. HOF qb over a no name running back. Ingram and kamara basically out. It was a gamble.

Team was too fricked with injuries to go for an overtime. Plus he probably didn't like how things were going.

Deon was their team tonight. He played well. frick him though.
