The interception at the end of the half doesn't happen if the NFL doesn't call a timeout for the Falcons, so the point total is now 7
LOL...wut?

enforcement of penalties
So you are saying the refs shouldn't enforce penalties when they occur? Maybe the roughing was a BS call, but a lot of those defensive holdings were legit and why your "shutdown corner" was able to keep Julio somewhat in check.

The refs stopped the clock with 0:11 in the half to review a clear catch then called an Atlanta timeout and put the clock back at 0:14. The refs quite literally stopped the clock because no one on the Falcons sideline or on their offense had a clue that the clock was running.

Every NFL game is selective enforcement of penalties. The way this game was officiated dictated the outcome. A penalty on the O-line or in the secondary can be called every play.

Maybe?! .

Agreed, but every time they showed a great play by a Falcon DB they were making similar contact, hooking, early contact without recourse. Selective enforcement, it's similar to a strike zone changing depending who is at the plate. Maybe Julio and Sanu, Alford and Trufant have earned the right to get calls or no-calls unlike the young Saints players.

I like the quotations. Given your best DB was doing the same thing to our 2nd year receiver, but he owned his arse.
