#ThomasFire: The fire has a potential to spread into the Sepe Wilderness as well. Most of the growth today was on the northeast flank and northwest flank. Winds tonight will create a very difficult fight.

#BREAKING: Santa Barbara County is being added into the Unified Command of the #ThomasFire due to the northwest advance of the fire.
Oh, goodie!
I know a lot of people down in Ventura (35 minute drive from me) and do stand-up there sometimes. A lot of people commute back and forth to work from both places and their shite is all fricked up.
I've never had to evacuate before. It must suck arse.

It has to be terrible for those people commuting while worried about their homes etc. I have a feeling Santa Barbara is safer because the last fire was only a couple years ago. I’m assuming a lot of that area hasn’t grown back yet?

Staying in West Beverly Hills. Are we in the danger zone so to speak?
The skirball fire is in bel-air which neighbors the western part of Beverly Hills.
You probably don’t have to worry about you’re hotel burning down, but you will be in the vicinity.
The fire is up in the hills north of sunset blvd.

Just woke up because the wind is absolutely HOWLING. If its like this 45 mins north of me where the wild fires are than these things will have exploded by morning.

Any rain in the forcast?

That sucks. I hope they can contain them soon.
One of my besties lives in Carlsbad. He was forced to evacuate a few years ago. He came out ok, but his girlfriends condo a block away was destroyed. She lost everything except some pictures and the clothes she took.
