re: Split Pea Soup

I don't cook by recipes;
sort and rinse peas
saute chopped onions, celery, garlic
put peas in pot with ham,carrots, potatoes in chunks
cover w/chicken broth and a bay leaf or two
cook til done adding water or broth as necessary

very easy
