It’s hilarious how this board has shifted from being for free trade and making America economically stronger to supporting asinine protectionist policies that only benefit small subsets of society who are too stubborn and unwilling to change their professions to get with the times, all because Trump is President.
I want to ad hom you for this TOTALLY ignorant statement so badly but I’ll bite my tongue.
Name one, just one protectionist policy Trump has implemented. You won’t be able to.
In fact on the domestic front it’s been just the opposite in terms of deregulation (which means more freedom).
On the trade front it’s been more free than since Reagan. Trump is helping broker deals around the world and lowering import tariffs to boot. For example, his last Asian trip he brokered $250 million in trade with China and get this he renegotiated Chinese tariffs from 17.9% to 7%.
That is not protectionism.

Fixing lopsided trade deals that hurt the US isn't protectionism.
