Both can be used.
The terms change.
Killa is high grade weed. What they used to call Indo in the 90's.

I don't know the term for Reggie anymore.

Never seen it refer to pain pills. Just checked Urban dictionary (I know, not reliable) and it didn't have it either. The earliest entry was 2003 and meant high grade weed.

If you mean people say killa for painkilla, I wouldn't really count that. It's just shortening the name. Jiggas and killas are straight up new words to refer to things.

No. Man.
Maybe where you are.

If someone says " I have killas" they have pills.
If someone says " I have some killa" they are talking weed. You aren't schooling me because you have one black alternate dealer. Lol

Plus terms change and it's more for what your people use than anything else. Once the terms are well known the switch up.

Killa = weed
Killas = pain pills

Jigga is not new.

Jigga as a term for X was around before Molly.
Again it's about what the people you know use.

Blacks have more slang words than I can understand. They must have 20 for coke and molly each.

No need to be a dick about it dude. I was in the game for 10 years, and he's right. No one I know ever refers/referred to pain killers as "killa" or "killas".

Lortabs used to be called blues but they changed the color, so now either 10s or just tabs.

Roxys were called RCs or Race Cars.

Oxycontin were just called 80s.

Heroin was called foil, dog food or "dat boy".

Coke = "dat girl" or soft.

I've never heard painkillers called "killas". I'm not saying you're wrong, I've just never heard it. I'm mainly just saying no need to be a dick about it.

I've heard the term multiple times while actually being offered "killas".

Let me ask then, what slang do you know for pills?

I mean Roxanne and Norco are specific, but what slang term?

Because your dealer stated calling good killa last year you think you know it all?

Congrats on being ghetto as frick then?

I just said my knowledge on it. Drug terms are different wherever you go. I've never heard killas as pain pills in my fricking personal experience.

But please, carry on with your "I'm from the streets" bullshite.

Different hoods.
Okay I know soft and foil and of course girl.

But in my experience killas meant weaker than oxy pain pills.
Dans were soma.
Bars were xanax

But it's whatever name you use to communicate it.
I guess killas guy pills was not officially sourced but the dealer union, who knew.
Using killa for weed has always bothered me.
Though I should also say, I haven't been active in a long time with anything.
