worked in the kitchen of a country club... can attest nothing gross really gets done to food. Of course if you have the balls to put in order in 2 minutes before we close you will get the driest burger of your life... I can remember one guy doing this as we were starting to clean shite, but we were technically still open.... I salted the frick out of the meat pressed the juice out every 2 secs with all my might and kept it on about 10 minutes too long as I was doing my closing stuff..... it looked like a charcoal brick by the time I was done.

Actually now that I think about it we did do one gross thing... little bratty girl threw quarters at one of our employees while she was ordering and called him a dumbass for not hearing her order at first.... she had fries w her order and got a healthy helping of the fries that had fallen on the floor between the fryer and grill throughout the day

Yeah...it's never a good idea to insult the people that are preparing your food.

I worked in the restaurant biz for 7 years or so. I didn't fool with the drugs, but stories of alcohol, sex, and partying are all true. I also met most of the people I now call my best friends as well as my wife. I will strongly encourage both my kids to work in a decent restaurant while in college.
