Have a question regarding the political science department at LSU. Just got accepted into the graduate program and am mulling Tulane, LSU, and A&M. Love Baton Rouge but just wondering if anyone the department is as looney left as the one in Tuscaloosa

Just ignore the teachers. They are just groupies like you and I.

Get the degree and change the world.

I started in the poli sci grad program, but I transferred out after one semester. Yes, a vast majority of the program leans to the left except for Dr. Garand and Dr. Clark though the others didn't come off as radicals in the short time I was there. Most of the people in my program were interested in political theory which I had no interest. My concentration was in American politics.

Have a job offer working for Alt for Germany as a consultant. I've worked for Jaroslaw Kaczynski in Poland this past summer for the Law and Justice Party. Hope to topple the EU as we bring down Merkel in Germany

My experince at LSU was most of my polisci teachers that were either conservative or liberal were always willing to engage you and debate you regardless of their beliefs, and there were a few that were too good to let you know which way they leaned. I liked that. In fact, i can't think of a teacher I had in polisci that let their beliefs affect their teaching or discussions. Which is much more than i can say for some of the dogshit professors i had at Loyola.

Dr. Mokeba was the best professor I ever had at any level.

Dr. Parent was an excellent resource if you're interested in Louisiana history and southern politics.

Then of course there was Dr. Mulkay. Who was insane and took a shite on the floor at different people's houses, but his class was awesome.

Even Dr. Moyer, who I'm pretty sure is a SJW nutcase in her personal life, let me get away with all kinds of devil's advocate nonsense in her Title VII Gender Discrimination class.

I worked for a Political Science professor at LSU while I was there.
This was in 2004-2006
Jim Garand, Cecil Eubanks, and Kit Kenny are the only true conservatives in the department left from when I was there
Wayne Parent may be conservative. He was hard to figure out
The rest are retired
Looking at the faculty list, there are still about 5-6 real left, SJW types there
The rest of the faculty are either moderate liberal or new since I left
