If a loss to Troy really diminishes your ability to enjoy a 9-3 (6-2) season with wins over Auburn, Florida, and Ole Miss, you've really lost some perspective

The lowered expectations are real. In a down SEC year, we get blown out by State and lose to Troy, and we are now to celebrate this.

Am I happy the Tigers won all but one of their remaining games, you bet. Was this season a success? frick no.

If you really thought LSU would end up in the CFP, I don't know what to tell you. If you really can't enjoy wins over rivals, I don't know what to tell you. If the one and only qualification for "success" revolves around LSU playing in mid January, just stop being a fan in the Fall. Someone will let you know when we're back.

All false, the expectations haven’t been lowered LSU has been ranked in the teens 4 of the past 5 years our expectations have been exactly where they are now for half a decade. The schedule narrative is also BS in 2005 our schedule was worse and at this point in that season with a much better roster we were 1 game better than we are now. The only difference is the anti-O army now devalues wins based on schedule strength when before it was never once brought up. As usual you’re ignorant.
