I'm not saying he hasn't been better than expected in some ways, but I don't see how you reconcile these 2 statements. He's either lost a focus he can and needs to regain, or he's never going to focus and everything MM tweeted is right, he's a Westbrook.

I think it will need to be a multiyear transformation where some of it is he gets better and more focused and some of it is winning enough gets you better officiating like you're talking about.

Its sad that our debate has evolved into the acceptance that we have a superstar who we agree upon is being officiated poorly. I think his demeanor is fine every game until the refs take it too far, but it is sad that it is ok that refs influence the game negatively this way.

This would never happen in a big market or to a respected franchise like the Spurs consistently.

I also think it is wrong for people to blame Cousins when he is the victim of shitty officiating.
