Why do people say OSU has shot over Bama?

2 loss Team that lost by 32 to Iowa should get in ovet a 1 loss sec team that lost to a monster Auburn team? Makes no sense if this scenario comes up for OsU to get the pass over the juggernaut.

OSU has better wins
In the past the committee has favored better wins over better losses.
However, the committee likes to pick their four teams and then form the criteria around the four teams they picked so who knows.

The only clear thing is they better ask the committee how close OSU and Bama are this week, and make the chair answer the god damn question

Ghazi my camel riding brother from Westerville.
OSU still has a shot to be a conference champion. Bama does not.

Bama beat 1 ranked Team.
If osu wins out they’ll be conference champs and have wins over 2 top 8 teams and a equal good loss to a top 4 team like Bama.
The one bad loss is not as bad as having no confernce championship and no big wins that OSU has
If you are confused see 2015 OSU (11-1) vs 2015 Stanford (10-2)

As Ghazi is a bucknut, I think he’s trolling.

The winner of Wisconsin/Ohio State will go to the CFP.

Your problem is neither of your losses were close and your bad loss was a blowout

Mergin of loss isn’t in their criteria

I don’t think the win over FSU will carry much weight.
Whoops I misread.

With the parity in college football today I don’t see how you can objectively quantify SOS with any accuracy. Key word objectively.
I am loving the fact that Bama is out if it plays out that way, but I don’t see how you can say OSU’s wins overcome their blowout losses when compared to Bama’s one loss against #6 on the road. It isn’t like Bama played an FCS schedule.
Either way, we’re about to learn a lot about the particulars of the committee. Bottom line is they will justify whoever they choose however they see fit.
“4 best teams.”

If Ohio State beats Wisconsin (big if), they will have three wins (Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin) better than Alabama's best win (LSU). I'm not sure if Miss State stays in the top 25, so LSU might be Alabama's only ranked win.
Alabama scheduled a FCS team (one that is sub 500), Ohio State did not.
I still expect Alabama to get the nod over Ohio State, but I think it will be much closer than people think because Alabama's resume is trash.

OSU has zero chance to get in over Bama.
Not gonna happen.

Ohhhhh, so now conference championship matter?? Funny, PSU didn’t get that benefit last year.

Neither is going to the playoff. When Wisky and Oklahoma win they are in along with ACC and SEC champ

Weird how this time of year people pick out 1 thing as what matters most. Every year has differences and last year osu has 1 loss with monster wins from highly ranked teams.
It was like Bama this year but add in 3 top 10 wins instead of beating Mercer

I think a lot has to do with the score Saturday and how bad Ohio st beats Wisconsin
If it's an ugly game and they win 17-14 that's one thing, but if they wax their arse 42-14 they are in. Imo

I agree even though Hocutt has said numerous times they don’t consider victory/loss margins, which is an absolute lie.
