The wall will be built by then

You do realize that there are other ways immigrants get in besides the border.

Not being a smart alek.

I don't care if the wall is built, but be aware that most cases of II are legals who overstayed their visa.

ICE is doing their best, I commend them. But its a stack of cards once them DEM get their act together.

It won't stop illegal immigration but it will greatly slow it down. Add in Trump allowing ICE to do their job and you'll see the stream of illegals going down to a tiny fraction of what it is today. The ones there now can move to California if they want to stay in the country.

0% chance.

You do not have a clear picture of what’s going on. Let me help shed some light:

From Pew Research:
quote:

Mexicans made up 49% of unauthorized immigrants in 2014 (including some who arrived decades ago), but according to the report, they account for only about 9% of foreigners (or 42,000 people) who arrived by air and sea, overstayed and had not left by the end of fiscal 2015. Canadians, meanwhile, account for about 1% of unauthorized immigrants in Pew Research Center’s latest estimate for 2012, but 19% of overstayers who had not departed by the end of fiscal 2015, or 93,000 people.
So roughly 40k Mexicans come to the U.S. each year by overstaying their visa.

If half settle in Texas (which is a high estimate), that’s 20k. About 40% of Hispanics are registered to vote. So we’re down to 12k. And about 40% vote Republican. So we’re down to 7.2k. And only about 50% of registered voters vote.

So now we’re down to 3.6k votes per year.

Hispanic individuals seem to think and vote more critically than do black individuals. Unlike blacks, they are not for sure democrats regardless of which socialist is running at the top of the democrat ticket.
