The land west of where I'm pointing to that is below the tracks and east of that big water had a confrontation last wednesday. Near that sub station at the tracks. A trespasser was beat up and ticketed.

A call was placed by the land owner to a few guys about a trespasser. These guys went out and found the guy tresspassing. A fight ensued resulting in the trespasser getting roughed up pretty good. The law showed up and ticketed the trespasser.

Sounds like not a good place to be trespassing

This is not exactly the truth !The trespasser left his gun in the woods and one of the club members found the weapon and when he was bringing the weapon to the capture site the perpetrator punched the club member in the face for fear that the club member was going to keep the perpetrators weapon and that's when the club member proceeded to open up a can of whipass on the perpetrator. And it was a one on one altercation which was broken up at once. The folks that lease that property are honest law abiding guys that pay a very large amount of money to hunt there and every unethical trespasser comes from chalmette to steal and destroy all the work that the lease holders put into that said piece of property.. I could tell you anything you want to know about hunting in N.O.East as i grew up hunting out there since i was 13yrs old and that's 44 yrs ago.. There is so much false propaganda floating around about that place and its all lies. The most dangerous person out there is an ole man by the name of Gill and This fella has had more men thrown into jail under false pretenses and has created more enemies for himself that its a wonder that he sleeps at all. Now mind you he has never done me any dirt as i stay clear away from this gentleman and i have no axe to grind with Gill what so ever but i know the real land owner and i know the truth of all these matters. A lot of this stuff is orchestrated by the smaller lease holder to discredit the larger lease holder. Can you guess why? You got it! N.O.East hunting is not for faint of heart and if you get past the giant rattle snakes then you may be arrested by friends of Gill or if you make it past that you may find you vehicle gone or vandalized.. And just for the record i am not a member of any of these leases as i no longer hunt in Louisiana....
