I know people that hunt Bayou Sauvage via a so called back door route that they say is not tecnicaly Bayou Sauvage. Something to do about the old exits is all I'll say. I don't quite think it's as legal as they claim. But, they do so each year.

it is not- not even close and now with new land owner - will not fly.

the reason it was made illegal in early 80s was jackasses going out there shooting at rabbits with 30.06s and such.
