There is a sprawling house on St. Charles Street in New Orleans that has been used by politicians and celebrities as a secret pleasure den for almost 100 years.

anybody got a guess as to this version of the "house of the rising sun"? I have to think it'd be down close to Tulane.

I picture this as the fraternity house looking place at St. Charles & Robert. (southwest corner of that intersection)

Place seemed abandoned for along time but always had some little bit of work being done from time to time.

I believe this Tudor style house was just recently bought and under construction for renovations. I want to say on St. Charles around Arabella.

There are some f'd up stories that I've heard from these prominent uptown families. Swinger parties, incestious stuff, Tulane and Loyola girls "working" house parties. If you know anyone part of Hermes ask them about the "Hermes Lunch" at Antoine's.

The fact that this article references a "St Charles Street" makes me think it's b.s.

Something seems off to me about a person who would spend the kind of money it takes to purchase a big house on the most prominent avenue in New Orleans, because they want to host a brothel.

House of horrors or house of whores? I need clarification because I currently on the fence of whether or not I want in on this house.

What kind of A list actor, politician, or other rich person would use a glorified whore-house when they can just buy or rent a condo for this weird stuff?

I can’t see Brad Pitt needing to use a guest room to bang a teenager when he could just get a place of his own.

Hell, Nic Cage once owned 3 houses in New Orleans.

considering the point of the blind was that the house was used to blackmail people I'd suppose horrors. you dont blackmail people with normal whores anymore.
