Does he realize LSU has a well regarded Engineering Department? Not to mention the incredible building they just finished. You should go walk him through the facility before he pulls the pin on TAM.
They have "a" building for the whole school of engineering?

It's a shame you have to disown your son so close to the holidays.
Do you at least have another son at HVAC school or something that you can be proud of?

He hasn't started there yet. You have some time yet. Dedicate this week to titties and beer. Be thankful you may still be able to save him yet.

If he had went to Auburn, he could afford three.

What a load of crap. I have never seen a Petroleum Engineer from fl. in a major position at any major Oil and Gas company.
They may have some but its few and far between.
The Oil and Gas industry is run by LSU and TAMU.

Couldn't get into UT Austin, aka the higher-ranked engineering school in Texas?
UT has a 39 percent acceptance rate while aggy is nearly twice that at 77 percent.
