I've read articles regarding sushi that were written in a similar manner, but they typically contain advice from the sushi chefs rather than a random person of Japanese ethnicity.

There are so many damned rules, and if I wanted to mix my damned wasabi into the soy sauce, then I'm going to do it!

That said, I realized that putting a little bit of wasabi between the fish and the rice actually tasted a lot better to me, so touche arrogant article writer.

You are eating your sushi wrong!

Here’s a really hot tip for sushi..ask for fresh wasabi. If they have it, it makes a world of difference vs the pasty green gunk you normally get.
