Has anybody jumped from #7 to #2 before now?

That's quite a leapfrog. The power of Notre Dame.

I guess we are all supposed to forget about all of Miami's close games against so-so competition.

The committee isn't going to place Miami in front of Clemson. They're going to set up a "You have to beat the man to be the man" ACC Championship.

Miami has the 2nd best resume in America, so not sure what is being forgotten.
