Listening to Maiden. Saxon, Priest, Motorhead etc. Y&T is not really Hair Metal though. Hair Metal to me equates to Poison, Bon Jovi, Cinderella etc. Only real Hair Metal I liked was Ratt.

Appreciate the response.

When I sold my album collection on Ebay in the 90s I had - including some duplicates and a few foreign releases - 18 Black Sabbath albums.

Rising Force opening for Dio was the best concert I ever attended.

I'm not going to dog you for no liking the butt rock genre.

But a lot of good music happened there that is much better than current what's on the current Top 40 hard rock charts.

Lay it down.

I was a big fan of those guys back in the day, especially Iron Maiden....Dickerson had pipes. I also liked Judas Priest, KK Downingwas a beast on the guitar, but I still keep wondering if they were slobbing around on Rob Halford's knob...........

As for hair metal, I always though that Tom Kieffer of Cinderella was an underrated song writing talent.

What are your thoughts though on The Cult....I always thought their music had "malicious intent"
