Not so much an arcade game .. BUT I spent A TON of time in A local bar playing the pinball machine called "PLAYBOY". I bet I spent over $500 on that game.... AND had the barkeep.."JINX" cheering me on all the way....

Needless to say she ended up as My PLAYGIRL............................

I had a paper route as a little kid in the 80's. Neighbors knew their paper was near because my loyal beagle, Leroy had asthma -- and if their dog wasn't already freaking put -- Leroy was hocking up luges on their welcome mat.

More importantly, I had a fat sack of quarters every Friday. I probably still owe that paper money.

Any 2600'ers remember Kaboom? I owned them shits

And of course

ETA: Defender, Missle Command, Robotron.

Spent a lot of time and money in the Swamp and Alladins Castle in the Southland Mall.

My friends and I used to take the trails from our neighborhood through Oakshire to the mall. We knew we werent supposed to, but we did it anyway, and somehow never got caught.

Galaga and Joust were favorites in the 80s. In the 70s, I thought I was a badass playing Death Race at the Miracle Strip’s arcade in Panama City. It was a very controversial game at the time. Games sure have changed since then.

The 7-11 store my grandpa used to stop at to buy his old charter and king edward cigars had a splatterhouse arcade game. Dropped quite a few quarters in that thing.

Starting going to the Putt-Putt on Vets after school to play Video Games. They were the only one, that I knew of, that had Tempest. I also played Donkey Kong and killed it at Defender.

Least favorite arcade game ever = Dragon’s Lair.

What a piece of shite, overpriced game. And, in the event that you had $1.00 to spend on an arcade game in 1988 (when all of the others cost $0.25), the piece of shite was always broken.

Track & Field, Defender, and Galaga at the arcade. Missile Command, Galaxian, and Space Invaders at the skating rink back in the day.

Zaxxon. Favorite arcade was the one on Vets near Dorignac's. Could also find some good arcade games at the front of grocery stores.
