The most frustrating thing to me is what if LSU had lost TGOTC 9-6 in OT? Do you think LSU would have gotten another chance to play Alabama for the NC? Hell no.

Les Miles would still be gone, because then he would have been even more convinced that the outdated offense that he ran was the way to go.Although it would still eventually get him fired.I like O and everything, but Les man, why the refusal to change (I really believe it was the offensive coordinator, but Les hired him).Well,good luck in the future.

The bottom line is that we are literally one millimeter (how much the refs determined Quinn Sharp’s fateful kick missed by) from being the program of the decade.

1/9/12 didn't CAUSE the decline. Actually, Les had a good 2012 (10-2, 6-2 SEC with 2 close losses). The real decline was 2013-16.

So no, there's be no difference in where we'd be today.
