we cant get another goose on our place....wrapped up.
my oldest is going out Saturday morning for youth hunting and he will probably be limited out in a matter of minutes....and it will be the best hunt of the year.

This season looks like it could start strong. Forbes Biological Station is reporting some huge counts in Illinois and Mississippi River valley in the middle states for this time of year. Their last count is the 3rd highest in their history. Swan Lake up there is holding 325K birds including 65K gadwalls. Missouri has started hot and birds should be piling in with these fronts prior to the 18th opener in south Arkansas and East zone. Coastal guys should see a lot of birds this weekend I'm sure.
