She got giardia and it was like a 2 or 3 month situation. She went from like 70 pounds to like 65 pounds. And she was already skinny as a rail. I think the trip was in September and it was basically Christmas before she was feeling better.

Some people struggle with it for a long time, it can be truly tragic. Glad your daughter recovered.
