At such close range with 30rd extended mags? Just as many. Good job showing your lack of gun knowledge.
So rates of fire on the weapons are the same? I promise you don't want to challenge me in gun knowledge. I'm sure you get a lot of time at the range lol.
Do you seriously contend that rates of fire for a semi-auto pistol are materially different than that of a semi-auto rifle?

seriously can't believe you didn't know a glock and an ar15 have the same rate of fire what a fricking joke.
Seriously, thanks for making my night. You just won dumbest post of the year.
So you can fire 100 rounds out of an AR as fast as 100 rounds out of a glock? Do you happen to live in North LA. Would love to meet you at a range of your choice to test this.

You see lots of 30 round pistol mags from your experience on the range lol?
Man your reading comprehension sucks a-hole. Once again, I don't go to a range like you poor folk. I have my own land to shoot on.
And yeah... I've seen 30rd handgun mags. I have 3 for my 5.7.

I promise you a rate of fire, reload, trigger pull, fatigue from holding a pistol compared to shoulder fired semi-auto. , etc... no you cannot fire, reload or last as long with a pistol compared to an AR variant weapon. You just can't.
Bet? You're so fricking dumb it's funny. Now you're trying to back track not knowing all semi auto firearms have the same rate of fire

I find it weird you keep talking about ranges. But yeah, come on down to Wilkinson County. I'll show you no problem.

You do not often find 30 round pistol mags. Most trigger pull in a pistol is significantly heavier than that of any AR I've ever fired. Fatigue also sets in much much fast from holding a pistol extended compared to shoulder fire. Match that with precision and muzzle velocity. You people truly are idiots if any of you think you are out firing an AR with a glock. It's actually laughable. But sure you can fire 15 rounds about as fast. Then it's game over and you know it.

Don't know where that is but would you really be willing to bet you'd out fire 100 rounds in a glock vs .223 or 5.56?
Posted on 11/7/17 at 12:54 am to ShreveportHog94
Oh and just for shits. Here's an OLD arse DUDE shooting 27 rds out of a 1911 handgun in UNDER 4 SECONDS.
Can YOU shoot 27 rds out of an AR in that time? LINK

I've seen a man also shoot an aspirin with an arrow. Know how I know you're an idiot?
Posted on 11/7/17 at 12:58 am to ShreveportHog94
keep walking back your dumbass statement bub. And I like how now you're changing the situation. Now it's about accuracy
And you do realize at such close quarters, a slower and larger 9mm round does much more internal damage than a high velocity.223 round.. Right?
Magazine for magazine, a semi auto is going to shoot as fast as you can pull. I can empty a mag of both and they be interchangeable in terms of speed.
Keep trying to redefine your situation though... We've gone from they don't have the same rate of fire ( ) to well maybe for the first magazine. Then to well the rifle will be more accurate. But the muzzle velocity

Strong words coming from a guy who's arguing that two semi auto gun platforms won't have the same rate of fire

How many time must I say it? Beerjeep is not going to be able to fire 100 rounds out of a glock faster than I would fire 100 round of 5.56 from an AR. It would actually be laughable to watch you try. Do you understand now? And yes I would shoot with way more accuracy as well. And you are likely a tubby douche so you probably wouldn't be able to hold up the pistol after the first mag exchange. So there's that too.

dude, stop feeding the fricking troll, he has no intrest in actual discourse or fact.
A native Woodvilian would have already sorted this.

That's probably the weakest retort I've ever heard.
Posted on 11/7/17 at 1:06 am to ShreveportHog94
Why are you setting the number at 100? I can fire a full 30 rd mag out of my 5.7 the same speed as I fire a 30 rd mag our of my ar. Or my mp5. Or my uzi. Or my vp9. Or any of my other semi autos.
Whattttttt no way!!! I had no idea a long rifle would be more accurate than a handgun! Wow. Learn something new every day.
Totes mcgoats. Mr "do two semi auto guns have the same rate of fire?"

That's rich coming from someone who thinks there's no limit on 1st ammendement lol

with the time it takes to aim, there is no difference

"assault weapon" is a completely arbitrary term that can mean anything to anyone.
Posted on 11/7/17 at 1:11 am to beerJeep
I like how now we bring in custom weapons and sharp shooters. Gun off the rack, AR vs Glock. You're not firing 10, 15, 30, 60, 100, 200, 500 or any other round except for that 1st one faster than the AR. Sorry but it's not happening. The more rounds we get down line and exchanges, the worse it gets.

Did I use the term "assault weapon"? I'm sorry of I did but it's an interchangeable term at this point. I do feel lmthe same way about it however.
Posted on 11/7/17 at 1:14 am to ShreveportHog94
Custom weapons? None of mine are custom. All are stock. And right off the rack, I will shoot them all the same speed. Now, reloading will take different amount of time.for different firearms. But my finger doesn't go into "slow mode" for handguns or "fast mode" for rifles. If simply emptying a magazine is my goal, it is equal amongst all platforms. If I'm trying to get lead down range accurately as quickly as possible, then your premise would be correct. But simply going for speed they are all equal. I find it disappointing you can't figure that out.
