I'm so tired of this dual threat quarterback argument. If we had a quarterback that could hit open receivers we would have won the game to be completely honest. Here's a fun fact for you. Deshaun Watson who is a dual threat only had like 30 rushing yards with like 15+ attempts but he threw for over 400 yards against them. What does that tell you? It probably tells you nothing because you're so convinced that a dual threat quarterback is the answer. The facts are that you have to have a quarterback that can hit the open receivers when they are open. Etling had plenty of time of throw all night and he just couldn't hit the damn receivers when they got open. If he does that then LSU would have won that game. It has nothing to do with dual threat quarterbacks and is more related to just having someone back there that can execute when they need too.

Not much if you take your spin for its face value. Now go back and watch the game, then tell us how many of those 400 passing yards came from plays that were extended due to his dual-threat ability.

This doesn’t fit the rant/xbox/PlayStation/chipkellyoffense narrative.
