What I am curious about is if yall have the strong feeling, if he comes to LSU, that he will be a big difference maker? Do you have a similar feeling about him as you did Fournette or Guice talent wise? I have been watching his tape and the kid is HUGE! He seems to run like Le'veon Bell and Kerryon Johnson. Big backs that seem to dance a little behind the line of scrimmage before finding their hole.

Thanks

While he's not nearly as fast as Fournette or Guice, I feel like he will be a bell-cow running back for LSU. He will come in and start right away, most likely, if he decides to come here. I love his size and strength. He's also got a nice vertical leap. Another thing I love about him is his pass catching ability coming out of the backfield.

I will be more excited to see Edwards Helaire if they ever play the kid. I mean I really don't understand not putting the kid in some games to gain experience for next season, even Brosette should be run more. Guice and Williams will be gone next season and these guys will be taking over. Both inexperienced at this point, I mean there really is no excuse for not running Brosette in the mix with Guice and Williams, I'm sure he's pissed about it.

Doesn't play to his size in my opinion. Still happy to have him though.

I like him A lot . If you’ve been watching ball a long time you might remember Chris Brown that used to play at Colorado and with The Titans, because he runs and is built similarly. He’s easily the best guy on our board right now and I view him as a must - get to keep our 2018 rotation competitive in the SEC.

He may be a good back, I don't believe he is any better than Leonard or Derrius, but the difference makers are the hog's up front opening holes. If LSU can't get the olinemen to open holes, it won't matter who lines up behind them. (Except Barry Sanders) Runningbacks are only going to make a difference if their blocking can make a difference. And the past 2 years, the blocking has been subpar against some teams. But, if LSU can get some top notch olinemen, then yes, Joiner can be a difference maker. But, if they do, then there's other backs who could be difference makers too. Chris Curry, Brousette etc. Got to get the hogs though, unless, like I said, you got Barry Sanders in your backfield.

Kid is already a man, I say if he comes he will start from the get go. We still will be loaded at RB. We have nothing to worry about the position.

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but we could have really used Etienne and/or Akers.

Honestly, I think he's a little overrated. He looks big on film but doesn't look nearly as physical as he should. Combine that with it doesn't look like he has breakaway speed. I think he'll be a solid contributor but nowhere near a Guice/Fournette or even Jeremy Hill level. He looks more like a solid contributor like Darrel Williams to me. I would not be shocked to see them move him to another position like they did White.

He is super talented but I think it will be a committee next year. I think the staff needs to pull in Pooka Williams from Hahnville to compliment whichever RB’s they do pull in. Williams will be a special player in this offense- an all-American type. He would get the sweep touches like Gage + returns. He has the ability to put up potentially 10+ TD’s year one.

I don't think RB is his position. I look for him to be a heck of a OLB though.

Some taller backs have been able to get away with being tall because they are either very fast or very big, which he is neither.
