The LCDs were great, yes, but they’re not better than the OLED on my X. I had the Iowa/tOSU game running on WatchESPN on both my 7 Plus/X and between cuts to my wrists, I realized just how improved the screen on the X was. It may have been that Iowa was in all black, but the picture on my X sitting beside my 7 Plus made the 7 Plus look hazy and dated.

Good for you, I had both too, 7 Plus went back to Mama already. I stick by my original statement.

I'm not sure your opinion can be trusted given what you were watching. Everything probably looked red and hazy to you at the time.
