Chaffetz: I can tell you that while I was in Congress and the Chairman of the Oversight Committee, I did go over and visit with Attorney General Sessions and it was one of the most frustrating discussions I had because whether it was the IRS, Fast and Furious, the email scandal that we went through, I did not see the Attorney General willing to just let Lady Justice administer justice and then follow through. I understood maybe the last six months of the Obama Administration…

Chaffetz: Yes, the email scandal of Hillary Clinton. We had Bryan Pagliano. I issued a subpoena for him to appear before the Committee and he said “No”. He didn’t even show up. We issued another subpoena. The US Marshals served it. And you know in my world, if you’re in court, I guarantee you that a subpoena is not an optional activity. We wanted the Attorney General to prosecute him and he said “No”.

I am not saying I don't believe Chaffetz but what is he running for now? Governor? Nobody believes he couldn't afford DC anymore; and wanted off that sweet health care and slush funding insider trading.

Not sure but Chaffetz seems like he's grown a pair and doesn't want to be a cuck anymore.

I have a lot of similar questions.
Sessions sucks
Sessions sucks

Or, maybe he cares enough not to be handcuffed anymore and wants to shine a light on issues such as this.
Do you know anyone that was served a subpoena and just decided not to show?

Jeff Sessions is too advanced in age to be the kind of energetic prosecutor and legal adviser needed in the AG office at this time.
Although he has many great attributes, he was a very average choice for AG, and IMHO, he will not serve POTUS Trump at a level that we could say is Outstanding.

Maybe. On the other hand, maybe it's just a tactic. The left has done it for years. Just focus on the "end game" where the legalities and prosecutions live or die. Thats why they pack the courts with leftist judges. People can push for prosecutions...and win the process, but when it's decision time, you have the final judgement in your favor, and all efforts and work evaporate. Comey is Muellers long time friend..he appoints Clinton cronies to "help" with the "investigation" etc. "Nothing to this case...move on". Why is Sessions allowing this? Why was he so eager and compliant to recuse himself?

That's very unsettling. 2 sets of laws.
Either the GOP get's it's act together or the next swing will usher in the people willing to break the laws to prosecute illegally. The people are sick of 2 sets of laws. Following what I'm saying?

Pagliano did not comply with two subpoenas ordering him to appear before the oversight panel. The GOP-led committee later voted to hold him in contempt of Congress.
Chaffetz said in a statement that allowing Pagliano's conduct "to go unaddressed would gravely harm Congress' ability to conduct oversight."
It's because of the lack of arresting people that congress is a joke and all of that starts with the AG

People are just going to become more angry and it won't matter right or wrong.

The fact that weed is more important than all the corruption in his dept. tells me he is working for opposition Trump. Either on his own or Sessions was told by Rosenstein or someone to recused himself...deep state/well establishment shite...resulting in Rosenstein's naming sleazebag Mueller to head up the special counsel...then Sessions not cooperating with congress for 7 months. Saw him interviewed by Bret Baier in the back of the White House. His demeanor/explanations, especially on the DOJ not cooperating was BS. I don't trust his bumpkin arse any further than I could throw him. Either deep state cuck or dumbfrick. Sessions and Rosenstein need to take a hike. Wouldn't mind Chaffetz as AG because this exact shite is the main reason he left.

Appoint him as Attorney General because Sessions is beyond weak and impotent

I didn’t think that I would ever say this but Jefferson Beauregard Sessions has been a disappointment to me. He has came across as being very weak.
