Off the chart great guitarist. Could play anything. He was the heart and soul of Chicago. The band was never the same after his death. Also, one of the most underrated vocalist ever. Can't miss that voice.

His band claimed Jimi Hendrix called him great. I seriously doubt this ever happened.

I absolutely love him. He was the heart of the band and didn't like the direction the band was headed.
Not as popular as some Chicago albums, but VIII is their last 'rock' album and Kath is all over it.
Do yourself a favor check this out. The whole concert is good but here is 25 or ^ to 4. Tanglewood 1970

I always enjoyed his playing. I personally prefer a cleaner style that doesn't seem to flirt with a loss of control at some point in the solo. Still, a killer guitarist and an amazing vocalist.

His passing was a long time ago, but his legacy is finally getting its due, thank goodness.
